Meet the Physical TherapistsDavid V. Tranchita MA, PT, OCS, CMTPT, CSCS Dave received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University in 1990 and then went on to receive his Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics from the University of Northern Colorado in 1996. During his years of practice in Colorado, he was an affiliate and clinical faculty member at Regis University from 1995-1998. Since his return to Milwaukee, Dave has built a reputable private practice and continues to be involved in clinical teaching for physical therapy students from Carroll University, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and Marquette University. Dave has taken extensive post-graduate course work to advance his manual therapy skills and now possesses three specialty certifications: Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He is now on the Arthritis Foundation Leadership Board for the Upper Midwest Region. Dave recently completed his Certification in Intramuscular Dry Needling for Trigger Point Therapy. He is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist. (CMTPT) Dave was the Physical Therapist for the Milwaukee Admirals from 1990-1993 and continues to work with high school and collegiate athletes to get them back on the field. He is involved in scouting (Cub Master-Pack 574) and enjoys coaching the sport teams in which his two children Nolen (10) and Alyssa (8) participate. He enjoys exercising, hunting and the great outdoors. Julie Tranchita, PT and Aquatic Therapy Coordinator Julie received her Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989. She has 22 years of experience in the practice of physical therapy, having worked 8 years in Colorado and now, 14 years here in Wisconsin. During her 22 years as a physical therapist, Julie has worked in a variety of settings including both hospital-based and outpatient orthopedic centers. Julie has received extensive continuing education in manual therapy curriculum, which helps her to assist patients in meeting their rehabilitative goals using both conventional and holistic physical therapy approaches. She has treated a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses from to post-surgical rehabilitation and sports injuries, and spinal dysfunction. When she isn't at PROCare Physical Therapy, Julie enjoys spending time with her children, Nolen (10) and Alyssa (8). She has become a true "Soccer Mom" as coach of her children's teams. She also enjoys cooking when she has the time. Brian Bedalov, MSPT, CMTPT Greenfield Clinic Brian received his Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy, from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa in 2000. He also received Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Human Health Services and Psychology from Clarke College. Brian decided that he wanted to be a Physical Therapist when he was injured in high school and had to go to a physical therapist. He so admired his therapist and the work that he did, that Brian realized that was what he wanted to do also. Brian started as a staff physical therapist at an in-patient, orthopaedic clinic in Milwaukee. He worked primarily with patients who had undergone total knee or hip replacements due to osteoarthritis. For the past 6 years, Brian has been working as a clinic manager and physical therapist at an outpatient facility in Pewaukee. He specializes in neck and low back disorders and his experience has focused on improving patient strength through use of specialized exercise and rehabilitation equipment. Brian has also had extensive manual therapy training through the Institute of Physical Arts (IPA). Brian recently completed his Certification in Intramuscular Dry Needling for Trigger Point Therapy. He is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist. (CMTPT) Brian and his wife Sarah, live in Waukesha and enjoy spending time with their two sons, Brandon (7) and Adam (5). In his leisure time, Brian enjoys golf and softball. Abigail Jurinek, DPT, CMTPT Greenfield Clinic Abigail received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois 2010. She also holds her Bachelors in Health Science with a minor in Biology from Bradley University. Abigail has been with PROCare Physical Therapy for 2 years. Her background is strong in treating orthopedic conditions and using an evidence informed approach to treatments. She wishes to continue to pursue and utilize the most up to date treatment approaches to best serve her patients/clients. Abigail was recently certified in Intramuscular (Dry) Needling for Trigger Point Therapy. She is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist. (CMTPT) Abigail and her husband enjoy camping, snowboarding, mountain biking, and playing board games in their free time. Shaun Powers received his Masters of Physical Therapy Degree from University of Wisconsin- Madison in 2007. His undergraduate degree in 2005, a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition is also from University of Wisconsin- Madison. Shaun's belief is that by matching manual therapy with exercise and keeping things 50/50, he can help the patients meet their rehabilitative goals holistically. Shaun is a Certified Workman's Compensation Healthcare Professional, (CWCHP) one of the few in the state. Shaun works closely with any work injury patients and is trained in industrial rehabilitation. Recently engaged, Shaun has relocated to the Greater Milwaukee Area where he will now be joining the PROCare Physical Therapy team. He maintains an overall active and healthy lifestyle and enjoys golf, hiking, and other sports. Growing up playing basketball and football, Shaun found a desire to practice physical therapy so he too could help keep people active, pain free, and healthy. Greenfield Clinic: 6520 W.
