Workers Compensation & Work Conditioning

When you have been injured on the job, it’s important to get the right treatment to reduce your pain quickly and get you back to work safely. Our Worksite Solutions Program focuses on preventing and treating work related injuries. Our rehabilitation process thoroughly examines environmental risk factors, determines the key areas to focus on and provides fast results. Our ultimate goal is to get you back to your occupation quickly, safely and pain-free.

We work with a variety of worker’s compensation insurance carriers and physicians to coordinate your care. We document your treatment thoroughly and report to your physician and case worker regularly.

How Do Injuries Occur in the Workplace?

Pulling, lifting, pushing, holding, carrying, and repetitive throwing activities at work can cause overexertion and result in injury. If you engage in any of these activities while at work, then you may be at risk for an overexertion injury. Overexertion injuries typically result in strains or sprains to the muscles and/or tendons.

Common Accidents/Injuries in the Workplace

  • Slips, trips and falls
  • Muscle strains
  • Being hit by falling objects
  • Repetitive strain/overexertion injury

For Employers and Case Workers

One of the most difficult things an employer has on his plate is maintaining a healthy work force. This can be very difficult in heavy labor type employment where employees are asked to do tasks that require strength and endurance to perform the essential job functions. When injuries occur, it drastically effects a worker’s compensation, disability costs, morale, and overall production for a company.

We understand that you want to have an injury free work force where employees are able to perform their work duties in a safe manner. At PROCare Physical Therapy, we specialize in a variety of worker’s compensation services and testing that can be beneficial for employers and employees.

Worker’s Compensation and Work Conditioning Programs

We accept state workers compensation injury cases in which the injured worker needs physical therapy services to treat the injury while also focusing on returning the patient back to work. We will work directly with the case manager, safety manager, and physician to obtain optimal case resolution.

Our trained physical therapists will treat your employees with compassion, but also move the patient through the rehabilitation cycle to get your employees back to work quickly and safely, saving you time and money.

Our Worker’s Condition Program involves specific return to work activities to simulate a typical day of work for the employee and ensure that they have the tools and knowledge to return to work safely. One of our physical therapist’s will help the worker make any corrections to their form and function so that the worker can build strength, endurance and knowledge.

Regardless of if you work in a high labor intensive environment or at a desk job, physical therapy can teach you the proper body mechanics and ergonomics required to stay safe while at work.  If you’ve been hurt while on the clock, then first talk to your employer about your options. Physical therapy is an excellent option because it will teach you proper ergonomics to protect your back and other at-risk parts of your body while at work.
